Oscar Wilde

He was a writer, poet and dramatist of Irish origin. Wilde is considered one of the most prominent playwrights of late Victorian London; In addition, he was a celebrity of the time due to his great and sharp wit. Today, he is remembered for his epigrams, his plays and the tragedy of his imprisonment, followed by his early death.

He had written the picture of Dorian Gray, a book that we must read.

My fears

I'm not scared about somethingmaterial, I mean, like scared of spiders, or something like that. One of my fears i that when my time arrives, I don't want to think, "Oh, I should do that"or something like that because that means that you haven't live enought.So I'm trying to enjoy the life at 200% . This is one of my worse fear.

Descriving the place were you live

I live in the Alt Empordà, I think it's one of the best places in Catalonia, we have se and mountains, wind, three natural parks, and nice food.
I really enjoy it because now, in the summer, you can go to train, and finish the workout in the beach with your friends and it's so nice. The weather is good, also, maybe a bit warm in summer but, anyway, i love the place where I live.

Optimist or pesimist person?

I think I'm an optimist person but alwways thinking in the reality. If you are only optimist and you don't care the reality you'll fail. So its important to think and stay positive and don't hope something  that its imposible.

A good invention

Skis

One of my favourite and helpful inventions are the skis and the bike. But I'll write about the skis. They were invented in the nordic countries, where they needed a way to move trought the snow. So the skis are the best idea, better than the rackets, because during the uphill, you go more or less at the same speedbut during the downhill, the skis are faster and safer. So it's a good way to move in the mountains. And funny as well!

Biography

Oriol Cardona is a Catalan athlete from Banyoles. He is a runner i summer snd a skier in winter. He was born in 1994 so now he is 25 years old. He studied in Banyoles high school and when he was 16 he joined to the Catalan selection of skimo. Five years later, he joined to the Spanish selection, with Kilian Jornet, among others. And he started to race in the world cup. Last year, he finidhed third in the world cup and right now he is one of the best skiers in the world.

We are living faster but, are we living better?

The world is changing very very fast, the tecnology affects in all the sides of our society, the transports, at home... Obviously, we are living faster but maybe we are not living as good as we should... I think we should take a break of inventing and developing new things and it's time to enjoy with what we have, because if we want to have more and more we won't be never happy.
